Job Summary
Conduct salary benchmarking through market surveys to determine competitive pay and develop input sheets for merit increases. Process bi-weekly payroll cycles, calculating wages, overtime, and deductions while reconciling benefits and processing bank wires. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws by preparing year-end filings and auditing payroll reports for finance and HR. Analyze data from ATS, payroll, and employee surveys to identify turnover patterns and workforce metrics, then build dashboards and KPIs to track performance. Provide strategic insights on recruitment effectiveness and employee engagement to recommend optimizations for talent management.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, human resources, accounting, or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, formulas, pivot tables)
- Experience with HRIS or compensation software
- Proficiency in V-look-up and pivot tables
- Strong ability to identify performance drivers, interpret trends, and perform variance analysis
- Exceptional accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive financial and personnel information
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance
- Clear verbal and written skills to explain pay details to employees
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
