Job Summary

Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of compensation strategies aligned with business objectives and market dynamics. Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to advise on salary decisions, job leveling, promotions, and budget guidance. Drive development of Career Ladder frameworks to support internal mobility and engagement; oversee job architecture, evaluation, leveling, and grade assignments. Manage the annual compensation planning cycle (merit, promotions, adjustments) and conduct market research to ensure competitive pay and internal equity. Ensure compliance with wage-related regulations (FLSA, pay transparency) and lead compensation audits, policy maintenance, and data integrity in collaboration with HRIS/IT. Analyze compensation data to create clear leadership reports and oversee external benchmarking activities. Travel to in-person events as needed; location is Charlotte, NC with four days in-office expectations. This role offers a base salary range of $120,000-$145,000 and includes opportunities for a performance-based bonus and broader benefits. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field; 8+ years of compensation experience; strong analytical skills; and proficiency with HRIS tools (e.g., Workday, SAP) and Excel.
