Job Summary
The Compensation Manager designs, implements, and manages compensation programs to support business objectives and total rewards strategy. Responsible for market benchmarking, job architecture leveling, incentive and bonus program design, and annual compensation cycles (merit, bonuses, promotions, adjustments). Partners with HR, Finance, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to ensure pay practices are competitive, equitable, and compliant, including monitoring pay equity and regulatory requirements (FLSA and pay transparency). Requires leading analyses of market trends, third-party surveys, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and protect confidential information.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation programs
- Strong knowledge of salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and incentive structures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Legal
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Bachelor’s degree
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation
