Job Summary
As a Senior Associate in Mercer’s Compensation Consulting practice, you will collaborate on compensation and total rewards consulting engagements, providing services to senior management on remuneration issues, and leading teams of analysts on multiple projects. Key responsibilities include conducting research and analysis, performing market reviews, developing job evaluation methodologies, and preparing client reports and presentations. You will require advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management experience, along with at least a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and a minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation-related roles.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree majoring in finance, economics, business, mathematics, statistics or HR
- Minimum 5 years of compensation and/or relevant work experience in human resources/management consulting
- Experience consulting with leading public and private companies in various industries on compensation strategy development, competitive pay evaluation, pay/performance links, incentive program design, equity strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and board compensation
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing large, complex data sets and translating findings into clear presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and functions
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical, critical thinking, and technical skills
- Extensive project management experience overseeing multiple concurrent initiatives and timelines
