Job Summary
Compensation & Benefits Associate to support benefits administration and payroll operations for Schonfeld's EMEA employees. You will assist with benefits onboarding/offboarding, enrolments, changes, leavers and life events; track invoices and payments for benefits providers; administer pensions; and support end-to-end payroll processing in partnership with a local payroll provider using ADP and Workday. You will conduct payroll audits, maintain audit-ready records, and ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems, supporting internal and external audits across all countries. The role emphasizes collaboration with HCM, Accounting, Legal, brokers, vendors, and payroll providers, with a focus on UK statutory benefits and payroll requirements and data confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of UK statutory benefits and payroll requirements (HMRC, auto-enrolment)
- Experience maintaining relationships with benefits brokers and vendors
- Comfortable working across multiple HR and payroll systems (e.g. Workday, ADP)
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy and confidentiality
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with European and South America benefits administration
- Working experience at a hedge fund and/or in the financial services industry
- Experience with payroll systems (Workday, ADP) and benefits brokers/vendors
- Strong data accuracy and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting
