Job Summary
Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and reconcile data with Finance. Administer total rewards programs including salary structures, market benchmarking, and annual merit increases while maintaining job grades and compensation documentation. Oversee employee benefit programs such as medical, dental, and wellness initiatives, managing Open Enrollment and serving as the primary contact for employee inquiries. Administer the 401(k) retirement plan, coordinate enrollments and employer contributions, and complete annual audits and filings. Partner with vendors to ensure program effectiveness and develop policies that enhance the employee experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Five or more years of progressive experience managing payroll, compensation, and employee benefits
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, benefits administration, and retirement plans
- Experience administering 401(k) plans and Open Enrollment
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), SHRM CP/SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification
- Experience in a high growth or healthcare environment
- Experience managing vendor relationships and benefit renewals
