Job Summary
Administers health and welfare plans, retirement programs, and leave processes, ensuring ACA/COBRA/HIPAA/Section 125 compliance. Oversees FMLA, short/long-term disability, ADA interactive process, and workers’ compensation programs, including annual filings (Form 5500) and audits. Manages end-to-end HRIS data for benefits, pay changes, and enrollment-related workflows; conducts internal data audits and supports premium reconciliation using Excel. Provides guidance during new hires and inquiries about benefits and leave; collaborates with insurance brokers, carriers, and Finance for billing, compliance, and reporting. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive data, enforces policy and regulatory requirements, and sustains professional relationships with residents, vendors, and employees. Requires strong HRIS proficiency, advanced Excel skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience administering health/welfare plans, retirement plans, and complex leaves of absence
- experience participating in audits and compliance reporting/filings (Form 5500, etc.)
- certifications preferred: CEBS, CBP, SHRM-CP, PHR
