Job Summary
As the Director of Compensation and Benefits, you will be responsible for building, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of salary, benefits, and bonus structures across the organization. You will manage compliance with compensation laws, design competitive compensation packages, oversee the annual salary planning process, and collaborate with HR leaders on job family hierarchies. The role includes evaluating benefits programs, managing the annual open enrollment process, and ensuring accurate enrollments in payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of compensation strategies, strong analytical skills, and experience in the design and implementation of compensation and benefit programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related field
- Extensive knowledge of compensation and benefit programs with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience
- Expert in compensation strategy with effective communication skills
- Knowledge of legislation governing benefit plans (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, PPACA)
- Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills
- Financial ability to identify and implement cost-effective programs
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products, including Excel
- Hands-on experience with HRIS or payroll software systems
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree and/or Certified Compensation Professional designation
