Compensation Analyst

Job Summary
Develop and maintain compensation-related documentation and guidance: create and update job descriptions, qualifications, and evaluation materials; benchmark compensation to market standards and internal equity; evaluate and rank positions for fair pay; conduct salary surveys, analyze pay data, and assist in developing pay structures including pay grades and salary ranges; ensure regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local levels; align pay raises and incentives with budgets; support performance evaluation processes and retention strategies; lead HR-related projects, track labor costs, and contribute to compensation program documentation and continuous improvement efforts; enhance knowledge of compensation practices through training and literature; proficient in communication and project management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business is required (prefer Human Resources)
- Minimum of three years in Human Resources, including at least two years focused on compensation
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency
- Strong project management abilities
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism in stakeholder interactions
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with short and long-term strategic development preferred
