Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and meal preparation. Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments while performing light housekeeping tasks. Provide patient-specific activities such as hospice supportive care, medication reminders, and prescribed range of motion exercises, including care for bed-bound patients and incontinence management. Utilize lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts as needed. This role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and benefits available to full-time equivalent employees, with weekend shift differentials and multiple income opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform personal hygiene
- Ability to perform ambulation/transfers
- Ability to perform dressing
- Ability to prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Ability to accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities
- Ability to provide hospice supportive care
