Job Summary
Conduct patient evaluations and assessments with licensed Physical Therapists, implementing and modifying treatment plans and therapeutic exercises as directed. Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic exercises, utilizing modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation to alleviate pain and enhance function. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques while tracking and documenting progress to facilitate ongoing care adjustments. Engage in multidisciplinary communication with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and uphold accurate, confidential patient records. Requires current California licensure, an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting, and at least one year of clinical experience. Full-time onsite role in Sunnyvale with a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
- Current California state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
