Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, creating individual treatment plans that address unique needs. Implement and deliver hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote recovery. Document patient progress meticulously and frequently reassess treatment plans based on evolving conditions. Educate patients and families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle changes. Stay informed of the latest advancements in the field, incorporating evidence-based practices into treatment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care. This role supports diverse populations ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain and neurological disorders within our outpatient facility in Largo, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- A minimum of three years of experience working in physical therapy or a related field
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
