Job Summary
Conduct in-office procedures and examinations including hemorrhoid banding, anoscopy, and anorectal manometry. Perform suture and staple removal, basic wound care, and process tissue or biopsy samples. Assist in managing postoperative complications, maintain sterile technique and equipment safety, and obtain surgical clearances. Support perioperative coordination by handling pre-authorizations and medication management. Requires current certification or active RN/LPN license, CPR provider certification, and 40 hours per week. Located in Newburgh, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current certification/license from one of the listed Medical Assistant credentials
- Active LPN license in state of employment
- Active RN license in state of employment
- CPR provider certification
