Job Summary
Provide in-home caregiving including personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting), mobility assistance, meal preparation and nutritional support, medication reminders, light housekeeping and laundry, and meaningful companionship to clients in their homes. Support clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia; document care using AxisCare; follow safety and infection-control procedures; provide Transportation to appointments and errands; demonstrate compassionate communication, reliability, and teamwork to ensure safe, dignified care in the home setting.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Dependable, responsible, and professional
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks)
- Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks)
- Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
