Job Summary
Directly coach and develop Team Leaders while supervising the day-to-day flow of after-school and Summer Rising programs. Lead engaging, age-appropriate instruction in a designated content area, ensuring participant health, safety, and well-being through active supervision. Implement enriching programs, manage equipment and supplies, and maintain accurate documentation for compliance. Build trusting relationships with parents and guardians while communicating program goals and the Graham Pillars. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of experience including three as a supervisor, and state licensing for child care centers. Full-time on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 403(b).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least five (5) years of experience and three (3) as a supervisor
- Previous experience supervising children less than 13 years of age
- Meet the state licensing requirements for a director of a child care center
- Demonstrated understanding of child and youth development principles
- Demonstrated understanding of how to create and manage programming for multiple stakeholders including children and adults
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Practical and strong decision making skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate a team
