Job Summary
Company Secretary & Compliance Specialist role overseeing corporate governance, statutory compliance, and labour-law obligations in India. Responsibilities include planning and minuting board/committee meetings, maintaining statutory registers and MCA/ROC filings, drafting resolutions and secretarial reports, conducting secretarial audits, managing SEBI/LODR compliance for listed entities, and liaising with statutory bodies. Also responsible for legal and labour-relations activities, ensuring compliance with key labour legislation (Factories Act, POSH, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishments, EPF/ESI, Contract Labour and Labour Codes), representing before Labour Courts and coordinating with external counsel. Requires strong knowledge of MCA21/V3, Companies Act 2013, SEBI/LODR, FEMA/RBI, POSH, EPF/ESI, and related regulatory frameworks, along with stakeholder management and confidential advisory skills.
Required Qualifications
- Mandatory: Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS).
- LLB / LLM is strongly preferred; B.Com / BBA with ACS is eligible.
- 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial practice with demonstrable exposure to Indian legal and labour compliance.
