Job Summary
Company Route Driver responsible for safely transporting tortillas to grocery stores on a scheduled route, loading/unloading product and materials, maintaining a travel log of work hours and routes traveled, performing daily vehicle inspections, and ensuring accurate time records and invoicing. Experience with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) to grocery chains and independents, loading from warehouse, adapting routes to traffic, and ensuring vehicles are parked legally and maintained. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, age 23+, basic map/GPS usage, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Not a remote/hybrid role; location-based responsibilities centered in Tyler, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
- Working knowledge of local roads and routes
- Effective communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
