Job Summary
Transport non-hazardous freight across UNIS's rapidly expanding nationwide network of terminals, picking up and delivering for both LTL and FTL divisions. Operate both automatic and manual vehicles Monday through Friday on the first shift, maintaining flexibility to accommodate varying start times. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, and vehicle inspection and maintenance while adhering to medical standards and a clean driving record. Join a team recognized for high standards in safety, quality, service, and efficiency. Weekly pay is available with direct deposit.
Required Qualifications
- Verifiable work experience as a Class A CDL Driver (minimum 2 years)
- Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record
- Meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation and possess a valid DOT Medical card
- No DUI's or major driving violations
- Satisfactorily pass a drug and alcohol test
- Willing to submit a background check and provide employment recommendations
- Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance
- Flexible operating Automatic & Manual
