Job Summary
Transport non-hazardous freight across UNIS's rapidly expanding nationwide network of terminals as a Class A CDL driver for LTL and FTL divisions. Pick up and deliver consistent volumes while operating both automatic and manual vehicles. Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, hours of service, and vehicle inspection standards. This Monday through Friday, 1st shift role requires flexibility in start times and a valid DOT medical card. Join a team recognized for high standards in safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Verifiable work experience as a Class A CDL Driver (minimum 2 years)
- Valid Class A CDL
- Acceptable DOT/Safety driving record
- Meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation
- Valid DOT Medical card
- No DUI's or major driving violations
- Satisfactorily pass a drug and alcohol test
- Willing to submit a background check
- Willing to provide employment recommendations
- Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving
- Knowledge of hours of service
- Knowledge of vehicle inspection
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Flexible operating Automatic & Manual
