Job Summary
CDL-A Driver needed for regional runs with home weekends and a 34-hour reset. Starts at $0.80 per mile depending on experience. Typical weekly mileage around 1500 miles with 400-mile hauls; home time Saturday–Sunday for resets, with option to stay out for more miles. Runs primarily within the region (Northern NC to ME, and as far west as Eastern Ohio), with occasional longer routes. Tractors: 2021+ Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Vacation (after 1 year, increases after 3 years). Requirements include being 21+, holding a valid Class A CDL for the last 12 months, 3+ months of experience in the last 36 months, and no preventable CMV accidents if under 6 months experience. Fleet may involve live loads and preloaded trailers; occasional NYC driving is a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Must have held a driver’s license within the United States or U.S. territories for the last 12 consecutive months
- Current and valid Class A CDL issued by only one state
- Drivers must have a minimum of 3 months’ experience in the last 36 months. For drivers with less than 6 months of experience, the driver can have no preventable CMV roadway accidents
