Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including transferring, bathing, dressing, shaving, and preparing meals according to instructions. Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and cleaning the bathroom. Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments, provide dementia care, and offer companionship through reading, music, and puzzles. Remind clients of medications and assist with prescribed range of motion exercises. Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and CNA or Personal Care Aide certification preferred. Weekly pay and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- Pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
