Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) role providing one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and communities. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks (dressing, grooming, meal preparation), accompanying clients to appointments and community outings, engaging in hobbies and meaningful social interactions, and helping clients develop life skills to live life on their terms. Requires 1+ year relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, flexible shifts, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the assigned area (Souderton, PA). Starting pay is $18/hour with PRN scheduling and location-varied shifts; mileage reimbursement available. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities
- Willingness to travel between clients within your assigned area
- Priority afternoon shifts available 1pm-4pm Mondays and Fridays in the Souderton area
