Job Summary
Conduct personal care and hygiene assistance, manage light housekeeping, and encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals. Prompt clients to take prescription medications at the right times, help with shopping and grocery tasks, and plan meals based on client ability. Assist clients with mobility and ambulation, including getting around the house, visiting the doctor, and taking walks. Act quickly in medical emergencies by reporting health changes or unusual circumstances. Maintain excellent time-management skills and reliable transportation for client visits throughout the Hill Country area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
