Job Summary
Provide daily companionship and support to a senior client in Naperville, including safely transporting her to physical therapy, medical appointments, and local errands. Coordinate schedules, manage daily activities, and assist with grocery shopping and prescription pickups. Accompany the client on outings with mobility assistance as needed and offer occasional help to her adult daughter. Communicate regularly with the family regarding schedules and concerns. Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment while promoting the client's independence. Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, and reliable personal vehicle required. Schedule runs Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or in a companion/caregiving role
- Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Flexible schedule, with hours generally between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required
