Job Summary
Be a companion: share conversation, hobbies, games, and walks that spark joy and fight loneliness. Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments and social events. Monitor and remind about medications, document adherence, and educate families with safe-care tips and regular updates. Foster meaningful moments through warm communication and respectful, client-centered care; maintain dignity and build peace of mind for the client and family. Prior experience in caregiving is preferred, and First Aid & CPR certification is recommended. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Schedule is weekdays, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm in the Sparks Glencoe, MD area.
Required Qualifications
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Prior experience as a Companion, Caregiver, HHA, or similar role preferred
