Job Summary
Develop new and retain established customer relationships by prospecting for new accounts, obtaining customer applications, and organizing written call schedules in the company CRM. Maximize gross margin through new and used Compact Construction Equipment sales by providing quotes, performing machine appraisals on trade-ins, and assisting in sales collections. Maintain active deal lists with follow-up dates, keep the Store Manager advised, and continuously improve product knowledge. Operate a motor vehicle day or night with a valid driver's license, capable of moving objects up to 75 pounds and maneuvering over construction sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license
- Insurable driving record
- Self-motivated
- Basic computer skills
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Minimum two years sales and or industry related experience
- Professional appearance
- Good language and social skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Punctuality
- Capable of moving objects weighing up to 75 pounds
- Able to maneuver over Construction and Agricultural sites for up to 8 hours/day
- Able to operate a motor vehicle day or night
- Good driving record for insurability reasons
- Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Able to demonstrate equipment safety practices
- Able to maneuver over and under equipment
