Job Summary

Composite Technician on a Weekend Shift responsible for layup and lamination of carbon fiber and fiberglass components using hand and automated techniques, including rolling composite tubing, vacuum bagging, and curing to engineered specs. Perform detailed finishing (trimming, bonding, machining, inspection) and de-tooling of finished parts. Support tooling, fabrication, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve process efficiency and material performance. Maintain safety and documentation standards in an indoor manufacturing environment; ITAR eligibility required; requires 3+ years in aerospace/precision fabrication and a high school diploma or GED (technical training or composite certification preferred).

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of composite manufacturing or advanced fabrication experience
  • Expertise in carbon fiber pre-preg layup, vacuum processing, trimming, bonding, and finishing
  • Familiarity with machining, tooling preparation, or autoclave/oven operations
  • Proficiency with measurement instruments and documentation of inspection results
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or composite certification strongly preferred
  • ITAR eligibility (U.S. person) for employment
