Job Summary
COMOS / CAE Engineering Applications Specialist responsible for configuring and supporting COMOS MyFEED and COMOS WIE, managing engineering calculations with Licad, supporting electrical/system engineering with eC-SiAr, and creating technical content with GCD Creator. Responsible for valve/equipment selection logic maintenance, supporting FEED and early-stage engineering, and administering COMOS environments (RBAC, access control, deployments, and system integrations with SAP and other tools). Will monitor performance, troubleshoot interface issues, manage deployments across Dev/Test/Production, ensure data integrity and master data management, perform backups/recovery/audit activities, and act as the primary KT sessions contact and admin-level clarifications. Requires hands-on experience with COMOS applications, RBAC, data management, and enterprise engineering systems, plus ability to collaborate with discipline engineers and SMEs.
Required Qualifications
- 4–9 years of experience in CAE / engineering application environments
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical, process, or electrical engineering
- Experience supporting FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and early-stage engineering
- Hands-on experience with COMOS applications and administration
- Understanding of RBAC, system integrations, release management, and troubleshooting
- Experience with engineering data management and enterprise engineering systems
