Job Summary
The CommVault Systems Engineer role involves designing, developing, configuring, implementing, testing, troubleshooting, deploying, and supporting backup and recovery solutions within a large-scale federal government enterprise environment. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining optimal backup and restore solutions, troubleshooting complex problems, providing analytics within Commvault management, and implementing security updates. Candidates should have a strong understanding of Commvault and related technologies, experience with security-related tasks, and ideally possess certifications or knowledge of SAN and cloud storage systems.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Commvault data protection application
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux, SQL database
Desired Qualifications
- CommVault Certified Engineer
- Working knowledge of SAN and Cloud storage systems - EMC Unity and PURE Storage
- Experience with DISA STIGs
