CommVault Systems Engineer

Job Summary
CGS is seeking an experienced CommVault Systems Engineer to design, develop, configure, implement, troubleshoot, and support backup and recovery solutions in a federal government environment. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Commvault's enterprise backup solutions and be able to maintain optimal backup, restore, and redundancy solutions for critical data, including conducting troubleshooting of complex backup and recovery issues. Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of related technologies and security practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Commvault data protection application
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux, SQL database
- Experience with DISA STIGs
- Perform security related tasks including documentation, vulnerability scan review, assessment support, patch management, and auditing
Desired Qualifications
- CommVault Certified Engineer
- Working knowledge of SAN and Cloud storage systems - EMC Unity and PURE Storage
- Federal Agency issued security clearance
