Job Summary
Community Volunteer Engagement Senior Specialist mobilizes regional teams of volunteers to deliver mission across Red Cross lines of service, grow local volunteer capacity, and design new volunteer opportunities to meet community needs. Responsibilities include engaging episodic/event-based volunteers, collaborating with volunteer leadership, coordinating Home Fire Campaign activities, overseeing Restoring Family Links and veteran programs at regional facilities, managing volunteer workforce systems, designing new volunteer opportunities, leading locally and regionally, and partnering with cross-functional teams to staff programs. Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related experience; partial or preferred qualifications emphasize volunteer management, program design, communication, and MS Office proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Volunteer Management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work on a team
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of group dynamics and program design
