Job Summary
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to formulate care plans based on patient assessments. Provide nursing care according to written plans, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust protocols as needed. Act as a patient advocate to protect rights and promote safety while assisting individuals in living comfortably in their home environments. Share nursing expertise with other providers and work various shifts across Thornhill. Requires a Registered Nurse in good standing with one year of recent community experience, a valid driver's license, and current CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
- One (1) year recent experience in the community
- Excellent problem solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with Information Technology
- Current CPR (BCLS) Certificate
- ACLS/NRP for Specialty Nurses
- VSS within the past year of hire confirming absence of a criminal history/record
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
