Job Summary
Manage and supervise the rehabilitation department to meet resident needs, fiscal requirements, and federal/state regulations. Assign resident scheduling, train, evaluate, and counsel team members to improve performance and maintain high standards of care. Ensure compliance with community policies, accurate medical documentation, and timely billing while coordinating with leadership and other services. Advocate for therapy, wellness, and fitness services to drive measurable outcomes. Handle revenue and expense controls to meet budgetary targets. Maintain valid state licensure, adhere to infection control protocols, and travel between communities as needed. Work varying shifts and attend mandatory meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a degree in therapy from an accredited school
- Must hold a current and active license as one of the following: Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathologist
- Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds of dead weight alone
- Must be able to travel between communities during scheduled hours as needed
- Must be able to work varying hours and shifts
- Must comply with the position description for the discipline of current license
- Must conduct self in an ethical, legal and responsible manner at all times
- Must adhere to the polices, principles, and guidance within the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing
- Thorough knowledge of state practice acts
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
- Bacic Internet navigation skills
- Must possess a degree in therapy from an accredited school; or Two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathologist Therapist

Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of management experience is preferred
- Two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathologist Therapist is preferred
