Job Summary
Offer one-on-one digital navigation support to residents at community locations, assisting with internet connectivity, device use, and access to healthcare, employment, and benefits resources. Adapt curriculum and materials for small-group training sessions while delivering digital literacy education tailored to varying skill levels and age groups. Support the Upper Rio Grande Regional Broadband Working Group by gathering resident input and organizing outreach to inform regional priorities. Build partnerships with local libraries, schools, and businesses to extend service reach, and track participation data to support program reporting. Coordinate weekly service activities under staff supervision, maintaining awareness of community needs through approved digital inclusion efforts.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 17 years of age or older by the start of service
- Passion for community service and connecting your neighbors to the digital tools, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Interest in gaining experience in community development or digital inclusion
