Job Summary

Teach 3-4 hours at Maati Pathshala brick kiln sites, providing tailored educational support to out-of-school children and conducting weekly library sessions. Engage in daily community mobilization through home visits, school visits, and focus group discussions to build relationships with parents, local leaders, and education officials. Track student attendance, maintain accurate enrollment and progress records, and organize data for baseline and midterm assessments. Take proactive steps to enroll children in government or open schools and facilitate necessary certificates. Travel periodically to source villages to map children to schools and support their enrollment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: 12th grade or Intermediate
  • Alternatively, 10th grade pass with at least 2 years of teaching experience
  • Strong skills in planning, execution, assessment, and reflection on educational activities
  • Excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English
  • Ability to build rapport and engage with communities, fostering trust and collaboration
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by out-of-school children, particularly those in migrant or rural communities
  • Knowledge of the unique educational needs and challenges faced by migrant children and their families
