Job Summary
Lead and supervise the Community Swim Program, overseeing staff and volunteers, training instructors, managing registrations and waitlists, developing and evaluating aquatics programming, budgeting, and ensuring safety and positive engagement with participants and families. Responsibilities include recruitment, performance evaluations, scheduling, timecard review, and collaboration with district leadership to align programs with goals. Must hold First Aid/CPR Certification within 30 days and may require Lifeguard or other facility-specific certifications; Oregon driver’s license within 30 days is preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and safety focus are essential, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as programming requires.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent two years of college coursework; AND Three (3) years of experience in swim lesson programming.
