Job Summary
As a Support Worker, provide in-home care to help veterans and seniors stay safe and comfortable at home, including personal care (showering, dressing, grooming), respite care for carers, and helping clients stay active and connected in the community. Follow individual care plans, support teamwork to deliver high-quality assistance, and contribute to a caring, not-for-profit organisation with a long heritage of supporting families across ACT & NSW.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate in Individual Support
- Aged Care
- Disability
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)
- Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)
- Australian working rights
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured car
- Experience in aged care or disability support
