Job Summary
In-home Community Support Worker/Direct Care Worker providing essential care to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities include personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), meal preparation, light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, shopping), companionship to foster social interaction and mental well-being, health monitoring and reporting changes to the office, transportation to appointments/events, and accurate documentation of care. Requires eligibility to work in Australia, police checks, WWC/NDIS screenings as applicable, a valid driver’s license, First Aid & CPR, and COVID-19 vaccination. Desirable traits include empathy, patience, strong communication, teamwork, and understanding of aged care and disability issues. Required Qualifications
- Right to work unrestricted in Australia
- National Police Records Check (dated within last 3 months)
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 doses COVID-19 Vaccination
