Job Summary
Provide in-home support as a Community Support Worker/Direct Care Worker. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, companionship to promote social interaction and mental well-being, health monitoring and reporting changes to the office team, transportation to appointments or events, and maintaining accurate care documentation. Requires right to work in Australia, police check, and certifications such as First Aid/CPR; Working with Children Check and NDIS screening may be required or pursued. Driver’s license and COVID-19 vaccination (minimum 2 doses) are needed; bilingualism is a plus. Flexible hours and a supportive team environment offered.
Required Qualifications
- National Police Records Check (dated within last 3 months)
- Certificate in Aged Care or Community Care or Disability is desirable
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
- Australian driver’s license
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 doses COVID-19 Vaccination
- Ability to work unrestricted in Australia
