Community Support Worker

Job Summary
Provide in-home services and supports to aged care customers, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning indoor windows, washing dishes, meal preparation, changing bed linen, laundry, ironing, social support, shopping, and bathroom cleaning. Deliver personal care, showering, toileting, medication support, and behavioral management for complex requirements while monitoring health, wellbeing, and living conditions. Assist with group activities through transport, mobility support, and engagement encouragement. Complete, update, and maintain all relevant customer information in the Customer Management System. Adhere to Lifebridge policies, standard operating procedures, safe work practices, and workplace health and safety requirements. Participate in work-related training, including online modules, staff meetings, workshops, mandatory competency assessments, and ongoing learning activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, Community Services or equivalent experience as a support worker
- Experience in cleaning services, aged care, or hospitality/accommodation services
- Effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills and experience in customer service
- Sound computer skills and ability to use smartphone technology and applications
- Ability to work independently, remotely and with minimal supervision
- Current Drivers Licence and ownership of a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive or third-party property vehicle insurance
- Current NDIS Worker Check
- First Aid Certificate
