Job Summary
Provide individual and group counseling for clients in recovery, conduct screening, intake, orientation, and assessments to guide treatment plans, and develop individualized plans addressing substance use and co-occurring concerns. Deliver crisis intervention, case management, and client education; maintain accurate documentation; coordinate care with physicians and mental health professionals; and travel within assigned service areas to deliver community-based support. Must hold CADC certification in NC and meet driver’s license requirement. Preferred qualifications include associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Behavioral Health and at least one year of counseling experience. This role is based in Rutherfordton, NC with local travel; it emphasizes evidence-based services, collaboration across health professionals, and ongoing licensure support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active fully certified CADC certification in the state of North Carolina
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a safe driving record
