Job Summary
Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autistic adults, through personalized care in community-based and in-home settings. Encourage independence with daily routines, provide guidance during activities, and promote socialization and meaningful engagement. Observe behavior and well-being, document services accurately, and transport individuals to appointments using a reliable personal vehicle. Maintain a safe environment while assisting with mobility and transfers. Work part-time, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a signing bonus and performance-based pay increase. This role empowers individuals to build confidence and thrive within their homes and communities.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a reliable, insured personal vehicle suitable for transporting individuals
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely transport individuals to and from their homes and community locations
- Willingness to use personal vehicle for work-related travel in accordance with agency policies
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, preferred
- Experience working with autistic adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus
