Job Summary
Provide community-based mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation for children, adolescents, and adults. Collaborate with clients, families, and stakeholders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans using a strengths-based approach. Deliver behavioral interventions such as motivational interviewing and cognitive processing while coordinating care with primary care physicians and community organizations. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress, and prepare for group sessions as needed. Participate in staff development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other human services specialized field
- Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with two years of related work experience
- Any four-year combination of higher education and two years of related work experience
- Associate's of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support
- Four years of qualifying experience in delivering services to individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities
- High school diploma with at least one year of experience in social services
- Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within prescribed time frames
- Skilled in case management and community support interventions
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects
- Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift
- Location: Independence, MO & Kansas City, MO
