Job Summary
Community Support Specialists (CSS) provide mental health and substance use treatment support in clients' communities. Responsibilities include care planning, case management to remove barriers to mental healthcare, and assisting clients with daily living skills and transportation to necessary appointments. The position requires effective communication, good writing skills, and strong organizational abilities. Eligible candidates include those with a high school diploma and 5 years of supervised clinical experience, a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, or a Master's degree in these areas. Competitive pay ranges from $22.50 to $24.42 per hour, with additional salary increases for specific licensure.
