Job Summary
Develop therapeutic relationships with residents while providing direct case management, assisting with benefits, and facilitating life skills workshops. Perform safety and security checks, distribute meals, and maintain facility cleanliness. Complete daily and weekly documentation, including incident reports and progress notes, while entering data into agency databases. De-escalate crisis situations and ensure state-mandated coverage ratios are met at the 24/7 residential site. Work Mon-Fri from 11pm to 7am at a rate of $19.00 per hour. Maintain cultural competence and attend required professional development sessions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Two years' work experience in case management
- Act 34 Criminal clearances
- Act 33 Child Abuse clearances
- FBI Fingerprint clearances
- Current Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCM) certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Willingness to obtain and maintain CCM and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications upon hire
- Willingness to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work and travel independently
- Capacity to lift 25lbs
- Ability to walk up and down steps
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Must be available for Mon-Fri 11pm-7am (Overnight) shifts
- Must be available for alternate Bridge Housing location coverage as needed
- Must attend a minimum of 15 hours per calendar year of training
Desired Qualifications
- Experience and ability to de-escalate mental and behavioral health crisis situations
- A working knowledge of the social service system through life or job-related experience
- Preference for certifications or training in mental health and behavioral health education
