Job Summary
Assist and supervise 2-5 individuals daily within community-based activities to ensure they remain integrated and engaged. Transport supported persons throughout the day to programs including social events, fitness, arts, sports, and festivals before returning them home. Monitor and redirect behavior, de-escalate conflicts, and model appropriate conduct while maintaining accurate records of activities, goals, and reports. Ensure compliance with COMAR, Developmental Disabilities Administration, and Richcroft regulations through regular communication with supervisors and departmental meetings. Maintain a current driver's license with less than 3 points to transport individuals safely.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to transport people supported as needed
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for daily use with current automobile insurance
- Must be at least 20 years of age or older
- Must be fully vaccinated or be subject to weekly testing
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Background in Recreation and Leisure skill development
- Familiarity with iCare Manager (iCM)
- In-depth working knowledge with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), and other technology
- Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
