Job Summary
Provide in-home and community-based support to intellectually and developmentally disabled adults, aligning with our CARE values. Responsibilities include training Individuals on task-level actions to perform duties, developing social and job-related skills, using a person-centered approach based on the Individual Service Plan, keeping accurate daily notes, and coaching participants to engage in meaningful activities within the community. The role emphasizes compassionate, adaptable, respectful, and empowering interactions, with opportunities for professional development and internal promotion. Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent
- at least 18 years old
- Relevant experience working with Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement
- Current driver’s license and California automobile insurance coverage; if company vehicle is available, age 21+
- Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
