Job Summary
Provide person-centered in-home and community support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities; assist individuals with daily tasks, personal care, meal support, transportation, and daily routines; support development of independent living and social skills; encourage participation in community activities and personal interests; maintain accurate service documentation in agency systems (EVV/OASIS); follow individualized service plans and document progress toward goals; collaborate with guardians, family members, supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams; contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive environment; attend required meetings, trainings, and continuing education; adhere to agency policies, procedures, and attendance expectations; role suited for patient, dependable, community-minded individuals passionate about helping others achieve meaningful lives.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred
- Complete all required agency and regulatory trainings
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification requirements
- Successfully pass required background screenings
- Pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Hold a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
- Maintain proof of current automobile insurance
- Be dependable and able to work assigned weekends and holidays as needed
