Job Summary
Provide daily support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and community transportation. Maintain accurate progress notes and proactively communicate participant needs to the team while coaching others to demonstrate compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment. Participate in required training, team meetings, and ongoing performance feedback to grow skills and contribute to the organization's values-based culture.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Relevant experience working with Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement
- A current driver's license
- California automobile insurance coverage for driving your personal vehicle to and from various community locations either independently or with other team members and/or Individuals
- If a company vehicle is available for use, one must also be 21 years of age
- Ability to read, write and speak English
