Job Summary
Develop and retain girl and adult membership in assigned areas by recruiting volunteers, hosting parent meetings, and launching new troops. Mentor volunteer leadership teams, analyze membership data using Looker and Salesforce, and implement strategies to increase membership goals. Serve as the subject matter expert for the area, liaising with volunteers to capture community trends and ensure policy compliance. Provide conflict resolution support, represent the organization through community presentations, and promote council programs and fund development. Travel throughout the council as needed and work evening and weekend hours to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with concentration in social sciences, nonprofit management or related field of study, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three (3) year's related experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite computer skills with ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technology
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
- Strong human relations skills such as leadership, networking, and relationship building
- Comfortable and effective ability to communicate virtually and in-person
- Ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and/or authority when necessary
- Well disciplined, able to meet deadlines, self-starter
- Ability to work well as a part of a team
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Ability to travel throughout council as needed
- Evening and weekend hours as necessary
